5 tips for surviving the encounter with Warden in Minecraft 1.19

The Guard may be the most threatening and deadly enemy mob ever implemented in Minecraft. Ender Dragon and Wither are almost pale compared to this blind but terrifying mob lurking in The Deep Dark.

The Warden is one of three new mobs coming to Minecraft starting June 7, with the official release of Minecraft 1.19. That said, the implementation of this hostile mob has completely changed what miners will have to expect when they go deep into caves to dig out ores and objects.

At any time, they can wander into the territory / biome of these terrifying mobs, The Deep Dark. Although it is not easy to kill one of these beasts, many tips can benefit those who want to escape this hostile mob without falling victim to it.

5) Wear armor

The Warden can deal the biggest non-explosive damage of any mob or boss in Minecraft. Its melee attacks can do up to 22.5 hearts damage in hard mode, and its range attacks can do up to 7.5 hearts damage.

If one of these mobs spawns near players, they will inevitably suffer an attack. Good armor can be the difference between falling victim to this terrifying mob and escaping.

It is recommended that users have full armor from head to toe, as it is the strongest armor currently in Minecraft. Not only that, but there are a couple of spells that can increase the protection value of a player’s Dutch armor, such as Protection IV and Swift Sneak.

4) Carry golden apples

The Warden inflicts a devastating amount of damage on players, so having the ability to restore health quickly is a must. Golden apples (or enchanted golden apples) is a necessity for them to wear when crossing the Deep Dark.

These foods will quickly and effectively restore health and prepare users to take the next melee or distance attack from the menacing Warden.

3) Carry water buckets or cobwebs

Warden can attack with a sonic crisis attack. This sound boom does the least damage to the threatening mob’s attacks, but it can hit players back five blocks.

If they try to build up to escape, this attack can be fatal if individuals take a huge amount of fall injuries after being shut down. It is important to carry either cobwebs or buckets of water to break that fall damage for safety.

2) Carry Potions of Night Vision

One of the signature features of the sculk sensors is that they apply a darkening effect that limits the players’ field of vision to only a few blocks. This makes it difficult to navigate the maze-like biome and escape the Warden.

If they carry and consume one night vision drink immediately after being tormented by the dark effect, it will expand their field of vision to about six or seven blocks. Even if it is not much, the six or seven sight blocks can offer a better escape plan than walking blindly while you wait for the dark effect to subside.

1) Carry eggs, snowballs and arrows

The Warden, though deadly, fast, and powerful, is completely blind. It uses its sense of smell and hearing to detect players rather than see them through the thick darkness Deep limit.

Projectile objects such as eggs, arrows and snowballs can be thrown to distract this blind, frightening crowd. It will follow the sound of the projectile being thrown or fired, giving users plenty of time to begin their flight.
